Notanant in use

Notanant allows you to share information with a controlled group of people. Facilities include info centres, events, contact information, discussion boards.
Notanant is about sharing information in a controlled way and controlling who can add or update information and who can see certain facilities. To get access to different areas, each user has a certain set of permissions for each organisation they visit. Moving between organisations your permissions change giving you more or less access to Notanant facilities. Once you have your own username and password you can join other organisations or set up your own organisation (for instance for sharing information among your friends and family, or for other clubs and associations). If you "List your orgs" you will see all the organisations you have direct access to, plus those offering public access to non-members. If you are logged on with your own username, if you choose "See your details" you will be able to change any details or set privacy controls. And if you are in edit mode you can also set up your own organisation. At the bottom of each page are options. If you are in edit mode (edit: y) then in certain situations you will be able to modify contents directly and add new things. With edit mode turned off, you just read everything. For more information about using Notanant as an organisational owner, see the main Notanant pages.
